Our first interviews were with the most average Americans we could find. Using 2010 Census data, we came up with a statistical description of the “The Average Jane.” We interviewed three women who matched this description pretty closely. Oh, and before we even found them, we knew their names; the three most common names for women in the year range that they were born were:
